As a blogger myself I often try and take a bit of time to read what fellow bloggers are up to as a source of inspiration, information and of course for some laughs here and there. I have subscribed to the RSS feeds of a number of my favourite blogs and although I don't manage to read every single one of their posts, I do manage to find the chance to read a few posts a week at least. Today I found a post from 'Sarsm' in my inbox in which she wrote about a challenge that both she and another fellow blogger, 'The Laughing Housewife' had set themselves called '101 Tasks in 1001 Days'.
Having written a list of things I want to do before I turn 30 recently, I've been thinking alot about what I want to achieve in the coming year or two and so this seems like the perfect challenge for me and a good way of kicking me up the bum to make sure I actually achieve the tasks I set myself! No.5 - see that month, can I have your travel pass? ;-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. You are more than welcome to come round mine this week and help bake cakes! This seems like a really good idea this list, but it's just SO MANY things!!! I like the idea of it, but at first glance it seems impossible!
ha ha, that would kind of defeat the point on the money saving month ;)
DeleteI'd love to bake cakes with you! If only I had the time! Perhaps when Milo goes away with his dad again after next Thursday???? x
Will have to have a think about this one myself?
ReplyDeleteHeres one to get you started anyway

Oooh, thanks for the recipe, I'll check that out :)
DeleteCongratulations on your list.
ReplyDeleteWe went to the playmobil funpark a couple of years ago, it's great. Our kids really enjoyed it. I also found it a lot more reasonable that some of the other parks.
Thanks :) The writing of the list is easier then the completion of it though so congratulate me if and when I actually do ;)
ReplyDeleteI find the prices of the Playmobil Funpark astounding in comparison to the Lego parks!!! Glad you liked it. I can't wait!
Nice list! I've been doing this as well. My 1001 things ends in May and I haven't even completed half the things on my list :-( It did get me doing more though, which I suppose is the point.
