After our disaster of an afternoon yesterday, I asked Milo over breakfast if he fancied a day with Alfie and I, and a trip to the Natural History Museum. He of course lept at the idea and so off we went. Slowly, painfully slowly.
We eventually got there and Milo was thrilled to be faced with the giant skeletons on display. He was tired from the outset and Alfie, having woken up at 5.15am wasn't exactly on fine form and whined for the first hour and a half, but we made our way through the exhibitions without too much struggle and I think Milo enjoyed it more than a day at nursery.
I kept having to close my eyes so that Milo could ''surprise'' me with his discoveries and he asked me about every single creature we saw. It was non-stop and I was clueless as to what half of them were myself.
