On first inspection the bag was smaller than I had imagined, but it is capable of carrying far more than I had imagined. It features a 5 Litre main compartment and a secret coin pocket which is a good idea for little snacks, keys or any other items you want hidden inside.
The best part about the bag is that it looks like an Orca of course! I can't tell you how incredibly cute it is! The design makes it fun for kids (and their parents too) and the size is actually just right for young children as it carries enough for the little bits they need, as let's face it, kids should only carry so much weight on their shoulders anyway. The Orca Daysack is well made and has lasted well with Milo's often rough handling, as well as Alfie's playing with it, which I take as a good sign.
Along with the Orca Daysack, LittleLife gave us a Dinosaur Lunch Pack, which of course went down incredibly well with Milo! He looooooves this lunch pack. So much so that, not only has it carried his lunch and treats on days out, but it's also carried his toys and books on many an occasion. It's definitely been well tested!
The lunch pack is insulated to help keep the food inside nice and fresh and comes with a mesh pocket in which you could put an ice pack on hot days to keep your food cool. Like with the DriStore Daysack, I was surprised at the amount this lunch pack could store considering it's size and it is really easy to wipe clean in case of spillages. The zip feels strong and it's really well made, so should last with an enthusiastic child carrying it. The lunch pack has a soft carry handle and is easy to store.
